Battle Fruit Concept Designs

Objective
Shoot your way to the end of the map by taking out steel garters and melon turrets, as you progress unlock more powerful fruity ammunition. Avoid getting hit and falling into the water! Win by talking out the final boss tower!

Artist Notes:
Our company took time out of our normal release schedule to make a game in 5 days and as a result these are my sketches/ rough work done for the game mini Battle Fruit! I worked on the background designs and some of the character work. Looking back and considering I was working part time then I really wish I took off on my other job to put more time into this project. Even though is a simple physics platform shooter, and only has the one level... we really enjoyed doing something different for a change!

Don't know why I'm posting this now, I think I just haven't uploaded any art for a while and the stuff I'm working on now I really can't post on DA. ( at least not yet anyway ) This game was actually made in February 2011. XD But yeah, thought it was interesting enough to show!
