My lilymud Secret Santa this year was the wonderful Tru! 
Was extremely excited to have Tru as my SS. I've always loved her characters. Tru incorporates a Native American theme into her designs, so I really wanted to play off of that. I went for a more hyper realistic style to interpret her characters in a natural look. Red tail hawks also live in my area, we have a family that nests each year and we watch them play in our yards. When I read Tru has a deep connection to red tail hawks I knew right away I just had to include one. Details on this took awhile, marathoned 9 hours in one day strait to get it finished in time. Those feathers oy!

I always love how your art looks. You were one of the first artists I found on TLKFAA (probably told you that before) and there was just something about your characters that got me drawing, too. And I love how you try new things and make an effort to grow as an artist and that's really inspiring.
