Greetings Deviants! Finally I get a chance to sit down and write up a Journal. I had intended on doing one big huge follow up Journal after JACON with all the juicy details, but alas, I was stuffed full of work as soon as I got back. Lets just say I had a really good time at JACON this year and was honored to meet so many wonderful people! Some who are new followers! Hi hi!

Being a Director I had exclusive access to all of the VIP parties at JACON... which were amazing. After a full day of work being able to chill with Steve Bennett + free alcohol makes all the hard earned sweat put into this year really worth while. (I had a lot of free alcohol. Didn't even dip into my own supply I brought till the very end) George Lowe appeared in a few of the night parties as well as Brett Weaver and Richard Horvitz. Great guys, very nice and friendly... you ever see them at any cons make sure you stop by and say hello! I think my most interesting and ironic experience was when we had the old Transformers movie video playing in one of the room parties and here walks up Gregg Berger... voice actor for the Grimlock character in the show. We were making our own side commentary comments and he chimes in with a few of his own. Epic!

I've been so disconnected from everyone here. My apologies... it really sucks... cause I feel like a stranger in a really huge crowd. And it seems until I get caught up with my work I won't be posting much.... well... I hope to post some of the static meshes for a game concept we're putting together in the next week or so. I'm also helping my neighbor getting caught up with his work. He normally has a guy paint for him but he has been commissioned off to do other work so I've been a filler artist for awhile. I'm not complaining in the slightest! Who else can say they get paid to paint movie quality Star Wars replica costumes. XD This weekend is the last weekend of the Star Wars Disney event which I've been invited to a 501st after party with some of the smaller actors from the film... which I really need to look up who they are. I think Jango was mentioned.

On that note I really should be getting back to work... cleaning up geometry, its taking me forever!!!! I just want to texture already.... humph.
